What we handle

Wood outdoors fails in a predictable order: the gate, then the posts, then the boards you walk on. We work the same order.

Fence repair

Loose and split pickets, sagging rails, posts that have rotted at grade. Sections rebuilt to match the existing fence line rather than patched with whatever is on the truck.

Gates

Gates that drag, sag or will not latch. Rebuilt square, braced the right way round, rehung on hardware sized for the weight of the gate.

What people ask about this work.

By the posts. Pickets and rails are cheap to swap, so a fence with sound posts is worth repairing. Once posts are rotted at grade along a run, repair becomes a series of visits and replacement is the cheaper answer over any reasonable horizon. We will tell you which one yours is.
Yes. Cleaning and staining or sealing is usually done as a separate step after repairs so the new timber and the old take the finish evenly. It goes on the same estimate.
Wood fencing is the core of what we do. Metal panels, posts and gate hardware we look at case by case and will tell you honestly if it is outside what we take on.
We check the parts that decide that — ledger attachment, post bases, railing anchorage and joist condition — and report what we find. If the framing needs engineering rather than carpentry, that is structural work and we refer it out.
