Once the leak is fixed and the area is dry, we cut out the damaged board, replace it and seal any residual stain with a stain-blocking primer before texture.
Knockdown, orange peel, splatter and skip-trowel are the common Texas textures. We mix and test on a scrap board first, then match the wall.
